Daily Farm Programs

Visit the two living history farms that showcase the development of Littleton from its early settlement in the 1860s through the 1890s. The historical interpreters demonstrate skills required to maintain a farm and how early settlers lived, worked, and played on the Front Range.

1860s Farm

Tuesday 05/23

  • 10:00am – 1:00pm: Learn about our historic orchards and how they were prepared for spring growth.
  • 2:00pm – 4:00pm: 1860s Cabin & Schoolhouse closed in the afternoon. 

Wednesday 05/24

  • 10:00am – 1:00pm: Learn how a ‘quick cup of coffee’ that we crave in the morning was prepared in the 1860s.
  • 2:00pm – 4:00pm: Learn about the chores that had to be done daily to keep a frontier farm running.

Thursday 05/25

  • 10:30am – 12:00pm: Spring is a busy time on a farm, learn what chores had to be done to keep it running and get ready for planting season.

Friday 05/26

  • 10:00am – 1:00pm: Learn about our sheep, and how their wool was processed through in-home spinning and knitting.
  • 2:00pm – 4:00pm: 1860s Cabin Closed in the Afternoon.

  • 10:00am – 1:00pm: See how historic recipes were prepared in an open hearth, at the 1860s Cabin.
