Daily Farm Programs

Visit the two living history farms that showcase the development of Littleton from its early settlement in the 1860s through the 1890s. The historical interpreters demonstrate skills required to maintain a farm and how early settlers lived, worked, and played on the Front Range.

Wednesday 03/15

  • 10:00am - 1:00pm:  Learn how early Coloradans made their clothing by hand-sewing their new garments or repairing older ones.

  • 2:00pm – 4:00pm:   Learn about our flock of sheep and how wool yarn would be knit into warm fabric.

Thursday 03/16

  •  10:00am – 12:00pm: Discover some new historic recipes and see what is cooking out on the 1860s Farm.

  • 1:00pm – 4:00pm: Learn what chores needed to be done to maintain an 1860s Homestead.

  • 10:00am – 1:00pm: Learn how cheese was made in the 1860s and the variety of ways to prepare and preserve it.
